The Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow (ECOT) is currently seeking Requests for Proposals from vendors to complete multi-factored evaluations (MFEs), which determine the eligibility of, or identify the disability of students suspected of having a disability.Please click here for complete RFP details in a PDF document.
On the Job as an ECOT Teacher
ECOT teachers assign online lessons and communicate daily with students and parents by e-mail, phone and through ECOT’s secure computer
system.
Teachers grade assignments and use ECOT’s unique online
gradebook to provide instant feedback to students.
Due to the direct line of communication, teachers are able to assist
students individually.
ECOT encourages peer collaboration and provides opportunites for peer
mentorship.

All Teaching Applicants Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree;
Valid Ohio teaching license in subject/grade level (Every ECOT teacher
is highly qualified);
At least 512 kb/s (upload and download) broadband connection;
Note: Satellite and cellular wireless are not acceptable connections for teaching at ECOT. If the only "broadband" connectivity available to you is one of these you will not be elligible for a position at ECOT.
Proficiency in basic computer applications including e-mail, Microsoft
Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Successful completion of criminal background check and TB skin test;
Valid driver’s license.
Teachers must work from Ohio home residence.
Minimal travel including overnight stays for development are required.
