| Sitemap Privacy Policy | ![]() Dear students, parents and other community members, As principal of ECOT High School, I am extremely happy to have this chance to acquaint you with the opportunity for an alternative approach to education offered by the Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow. ECOT is a pioneer of e-schooling, using a unique, secure intranet system to deliver quality instruction in a wide variety of programs to a broad range of students, many of whom have met only limited success in conventional high schools all across Ohio. For many young people seeking an alternative to traditional education, ECOT offers a unique opportunity to learn online, while working in their own homes, where parents can be immediately available to offer direct support and encouragement as true partners in their children's education. The ever-increasing number of families who have selected ECOT as the school of choice for their children has consistently demonstrated that this approach has been highly successful. We are now the largest e-school in the country, with a K-12 enrollment of over 6000, with nearly 4000 in the high school alone. The success of ECOT does not lie in its numbers, however, but in the fact that we offer a quality curriculum taught by excellent, highly qualified teachers. Parents and students must remember that, for all of its unique approach to education, ECOT High School offers a regular high school curriculum, based solidly on the same Ohio Department of Education standards that govern all high schools in our state. We take our mission extremely seriously. For many of our young people, ECOT is the school of last resort. We constantly strive to ensure that all of our students join the growing list of young adults who already have earned diplomas from ECOT High School. We are proud of our graduates, knowing that they have the skills and tools to meet the future that is now in their hands. We invite you to join us as we move toward that bright future. Yours in education, -- Jim Condron, Principal, Grades 11-12 -- Brent Dearbaugh, Principal, Grades 8-10
