Which is why I use Reddit for boobies, cat pics and small subs about my personal interests, and not really for news, politics, or knowledge about the up-and-coming new thing, because I'm fairly sure that all of that is being dramatically manipulated by large organizations.

The reveal that he was manipulating votes probably cuts him off at the knees in terms of getting any sort of job involving social media that his role on reddit may have gotten him an interview for, but it would be supremely silly if it affected his career trajectory in academic or industrial research.
